A lot of walking here in Vermont around town and runs 6am every other day. Just signed up for hot yoga. Wife & daughter love it. The Dartmouth football team swear by it!

I walk between .7 miles and 1.4 miles every day I work depending on whether I close or not. Days I close .7 miles, don't close 1.4 miles. I used to bike, but my bike took a crap.

I was treadmilling in our apartment complex's gym this morning, and an older (than me) lady on the other treadmill accidentally pushed the 5 or 6 mph speed button instead of the % incline button, and she almost went flying off the back of the machine before being able to step to the side rail and slow the belt down again.  She then laughed and laughed at herself while starting to walk again. After about twenty minutes, she quit and limped out with her cane - she apparently has arthritis - and proudly announced to me that she had done 30 minutes at an incline of 4%. I had to admire her gumption, but I also had visions of her breaking her hip, and me having to run off to find someone to call 911. I guess I need to start taking my cell phone to the gym with me...
