Hi all,

First I'd like to thank Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements for taking the time to do an AMA (ask me anything) with the Damn Fine Shave community. Douglas & Fran will be popping in and out of the forum throughout the day to answer questions that we have for them.

Please keep in mind that the questions that are asked NEED to follow our site rules. Failure to follow our rules will result in the removal of your post(s).

Check out their shaving items at: https://phoenixartisanaccoutrements.com

Thanks,

Andrew

I believe Fran may be participating in the AMA, as well, which I’m excited about. While Douglas is the face of the company, and a master of many trades within the business, I really appreciate how quick Fran has been to respond whenever I’ve had a Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements-related question of any kind.

Looking forward to some good conversation in this thread.

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

To Douglas and Francis, I enjoy the range and various types of products you produce that I have tried and used. Do you both enjoy the current scale of production you can make? I think it is something to be proud of since you continue to bring new developments into the different products.

Some of my favorite scents are from Cavendish, Briar, and Tombstone. I use Sin aftershave splash quite a bit. What are my chances on trying something that is a whipped shea butter base sometime soon?

I've been looking for a shaving cream that is like the old "Heather n fern" from Seaforth. Do you have anything like that?

CaD314 , first of all, thank you (and Fran) for taking the time to do this today.

A quick question to start off: will King Emporium be coming back? If not, what would be a good substitute?

I'd like to start by thanking the PAA team for the great customer service I've had. I would like to know if Doug ever sleeps, between what he does for the community between meet ups and ILBS and other entertainment, how does he have time to make a develop new products. Any new surprises coming in time for Christmas?

Hey Zac!
We will be bringing back our whipped shea butter very soon. Would love to offer that all year but Arizona summers liquefy even the best intentions! Great question and look for it in a few weeks bud...and feel free to PM me if you don't see it!

No sir we do not...I don't think? What is the scent profile? or what other scent does it smell most similar to?
