Thank you!

We are doing our best to make more body soaps but time is really the issue. Most of my "free" time recently has been spent making deodorants since they are getting more and more popular.

Also, not every scent works with the cold processed soap method so it's not unusual to have a "soap fail" and have to trash a whole batch. Recently I tried several new scents and none of them survived a test batch, boo. But I do have some Lime Ginger Tea Tree body soap just about ready to go.

One of the goals for next year is to scale this production up to be able to make more at a time.

Hey 2e20,
We do sir! It's a very costly and arduous process getting a product certified. If we see our products doing well over there we will invest more into the project for sure! I will say that we have a few more splashes we are currently in the process of getting certified...so stay tuned!

Yes! We absolutely do. Gifts and Care will soon have 3 aftershaves for sale and more to come. It is a VERY expensive and time consuming process to get products EU certified. Every single scent is it's own product and requires individual initial certification, and then there is a yearly fee to keep it certified. The process and paperwork are monumental.

So, as we are able we are getting products certified and shipped out to Spain.

Hello Asafiev,
To piggyback on Fran's answer with my own spin...We have too many scents! Where as other artisans have around 5-10 scents typically they can keep up with matching body soaps, with 80+ over here...that would be an endless, uphill battle to sustain! But as Fran mentioned, we will be trying to offer some new ones, maybe even a seasonal rotation of scents so folks can stock up. This is where it stands for us at this point, as we grow, so will our staff and this will affect scale in a positive way! Great question!

Hey JRR!
No chance at all! Smile
I am a firm believer that the addition of tallow doesn't make for a better soap, like a magical ingredient. It's just a traditional ingredient. Back in the day tallow was used as a cheap source of stearic acid. it was a by product of the bumping meat industry and big companies scooped it up for pennies. Now a days we have access to many, MANY
different exotic oils and butters that contain stearic acid, equal to and sometimes more than tallow. With all the crap they pump into animals these days; hormones, steroids, etc...I rather not go down that road, especially when there is no need. Stearic acid is stearic acid, I don't care where it comes from. I honestly think it's just superstition and placebo that keeps the myth of Tallow being magical alive. People really enjoy our Crown King formula, especially those that have sworn by tallow for years...if that tells you anything! Great question and I hope that helps!
