This was the only razor that had my attention this year....I thought it might make a good foil for the Wolfman Ti 1.55....was
wishfully thinking it might slot in at a 1.35s efficiency.

Anyway, seeing that it hasn't been shelved for good, there is still hope.

The H&S titanium fits in very well from an efficiency standpoint next to my stainless WR2 1.35.

I haven't tried the H&S Ti P076, it's in the mail, but the SS Javelin "Diamondback prototype" fits right in the middle of efficiency between my WR2 1.25 SB and 1.45 SB.

I was just having a conversation with someone a few hours ago, about how it's a shame that the paradigm line is so 'unobtanium' and not out there for more to experience.

Great to hear this!

I don’t understand comments like this. It took several months before the now “unobtanium” Diamondback 2020 sold out. During that time, you literally could have ordered it for MSRP and had it delivered in a few days time. For some reason, people don’t decide they want something until it gets hyped up and can’t be easily obtained. Why didn’t you order the DB earlier this year when it was in stock and readily available?

Many people don't order products on launch because they want to do the prudent thing and wait for a consensus on reviews.  By the time enough reviews are out to make an informed decision...they sold out.  Not everyone is willing to gamble with their money on an unknown.
That’s not what happened with the DB. As CK89 mentioned a few posts up, there were several overwhelmingly positive reviews on the razor and it remained in stock for many weeks after those reviews came out. There was ample opportunity for folks to make an informed purchase of that razor.

I don't know if I would say it was available for "many" weeks. I have a 2019 and didn't care enough about a perfect mirror finish to buy a 2020, but there were many posters here who weren't able to get one during the open window. To me, a single run razor of perhaps a couple hundred pieces with no chance of future production, if not outright unobtanium, is at the very least problematic to find on demand.

You won't be disappointed with what we have in store for you. There are many reasons why our first razor is called Opus One Smile
I can think of a few reasons why I’d like to open a bottle of a Opus One right about now....

I was more referring to the SE and the DB wasn't one that I was on the hunt for. Not to mention, my response follows on from what the man himself has stated.
To be fair, I only became aware of Paradigm razors, shortly after the SE was sold out. I did manage
to get one after the fact though.
I’ve got a mint 17-4 P-dime I can throw up on the BST if you Gents would like more to experience?

Proud to be the 50th post concerning a razor that we know absolutely nothing about! It's a sickness......
