I personally didn't like the Kamisori. It felt harsh to me. The Feathers imho are a much better blade. Definitely worth trying Kamisori if you haven't. YMMV.

Thx. May try some day. Feather and Kai provide enough great blades.

My favorite blade so far is the feather professionals. I tried the pro guards and the pro supers as well. The pro supers were far too aggressive for my skin.

Edited to add: I used these in an AlumiGoose I was borrowing.

Wholeheartedly agree with all of this. The Kai Milds were a bit too mild. The Feather Professionals were absolutely perfect. I decided to try the Feather Super since I had ordered a trio of them from Tryablade but wow! Way too aggressive for me, my face couldn't handle it. Back to Feather Pros.

Just pre-purchased the Silver General. They are still available for pre-order so after thinking on it the whole weekend, I still wanted it and snagged one. What can you do?

Well, my first week with the General was surprisingly easy. I thought there would be a learning curve (I have only used DE before) but there was not. The first few shaves were fantastic. Then I tried to use soap in my inventory that was less slick and also tried to shave against the grain. The shave was outstanding and I got a BBS on my neck. The AS-D2 is my favorite DE style razor. I like it more than the Wolfman, EJs, Merkur, etc. For a long time it has been my favorite razor becuase it was so easy to use. But to be honest, the General is just as easy and gives me a better shave against the grain. I am very satisfied. For those on the fence I say go for it and buy a General.

This is awesome news congrats on the amazing shaves. I'll be pretty excited to get tre silver anodized in my hands next month.

It just goes to show you that one does not need to spend well over 200$ to get a great shave with an SE razor and I'm proud of the guys at colonial for offering such an incredible value.

We are expecting the shop to ship the razors to our headquarters in late November. All pre-orders estimated to be shipped by us in early December. We will send an official update as we near closer!
