new DE razor from rex supply - the envoy

I really like the knurling on this one! Not in on the pass around since I already own a Rex, but it's nice of Matt to offer one.

We are still several weeks away from a prototype being able to be mailed around, however we wanted to at least get the organization / sign up in place.

Will post more news / updates as they happen.

Right now we are waiting on a local shop to make a the first prototype handle. The knurl pattern I showed may not be used on this model. We may save it for a 3rd razor.... we shall see. Cost is my biggest obstacle with this - I really want it to be in the $120-$140 range while still being able to wholesale it.

I agree.  I don't need to be in either since I already own the Rex, but that knurling is NICE.  Maybe a handle only option would be good for me (MAKE IT HAPPEN MATT!).

Since it is a 3 piece razor we may certainly have handle options for the customer- I'm just trying to make sure that the "baseline" model is at a great price point.

Will this razor cover the blade tabs? I really liked my Rex Ambassador set on 4, but I sold it because the covered tabs made it difficult to load and unload the blade and made it feel too bulky.

Looks great but I use my Ambassador on 4-5 with a Feather blade so might be too mild for me. Absolutely LOVE that handle though!!
