For me, I would say the Carbon ++. It’s the more efficient option for me and cuts like butter (don’t feel the blade but cuts the beard off well).

This is a perfect thread for me, keeping my eyes on it. So far, all I could contribute is Yates M. I'd like to have tried a Paradigm but I missed my chance and that ship has sailed. Look forward to other reviews for vendors.

I do not like very effective razors.
I prefer comfort, and BBS in three passes.
So, efficient is the result.

My best option is Colonial Razor The General V1 AL / FrankenRazor PP1489.

If it's any consolation I had a 2020 DB and sold it after getting the Yates with an H plate. Couldn't justify it comparing strictly on shave quality and not considering shiny cool factor.

IMO best available is the Yates H plate, best unavailable is the RS10 Aggressive plate, and the best for head shaving is the Vector.

If you are willing to look outside of DE razors a Gem Featherweight would be a good option. You'd need to learn how to use it correctly first if you are not familar with SE razors like these to get good shaves.
