I am taking notes....some great options here.
The Wolfman 1.35/1.55 duo covers me in 90% of situations.
For the other 10%, I have hung on to my Red Tip Superspeed (UK),
which answers to the title of this thread perfectly. But I am considering
a more modern day candidate.
Was pleasantly surprised to see Rocnel 2019, Dart, YatesH (I didn't even know what
about Yates' existence.)
Great stuff!

The RS 10 with the aggressive baseplate remains the smoothest but both the Paradigm 2020 High polished and Yates H plate are extremely close in smoothness and both are more efficient than the RS 10.
The Yates H plate razor is the star here at the price it sells for. The polished and the upcoming Titanium look promising.

The bird is just different to me. The blade feel doesn’t share the discomfort that comes with blade feel on other razors. But again, ymmv.
Agree with Tony. The Ti BB is the most efficient and the smoothest razor for me. My comparison pool includes:
Rockwell 6S plate 4
BB stainless
BB brass
RS10
WR1 .67, .83, .90
CG lvl 3
Paradigm DE Ti
Weber PH and DLC
ATT R1
