I'm sure this has been mentioned on this thread before. If so, I apologize for repeating. But Italian Barber is carrying Mike's. What caught my eye was the fact they have Lemongrass & Eucalyptus...haven't seen for sale anywhere else, including Mike's website. Unfortunately, they don't carry Lily of the Valley

Hi Doug- I have yet to purchase Mikes and have been asking about them.  Could you clarify what you mean by his scents not doing it for you anymore.  Is it do to them not being updated, not strong enough, prefer more complex scents?  Thank you.

No, his scents are fine. Hungarian Lavender is my favorite lavender scent. I've been using Mike's for years and I have grown tired of it for now. It's not a knock on Mike's at all, I think I overused his soaps for quite a while. They are excellent performers. I just started trying new to me soaps. Too many good soaps around, just can't buy and use them all.

I picked up a tub of Mike's Orange, cedar wood & Black Pepper and use it earlier this week - its a great scent, complex orange and wonderful. Mike's scents tend to be straight up, lavender , vetiver, bay rum. They smell like they say on the can and perform great but no complex, haunting mysterious scents. For me the orange, cedar wood is the most complex scent Mike makes (IMO)

that's one of the reasons I like Mike's scents - I prefer straight forward stuff. I own his bay rum, barbershop and orange, cedar wood and black pepper..I love them all.

I agree, some scents could be improved, or even some new scents introduced. Notwithstanding, Mike's is still the top of the heap for my preferences in performance.

Well just added another year of soap to den. Angel

Just ordered Mikes Hungarian Lavender, Lime, Barbershop, and Orange Cedarwood & Black Pepper. Went with bars instead of the tins.

Sounds like a great order - if you've got any empty B&M tubs or similar its pretty easy to squash Mike's into those and lather away.
