Stirling Soap Co. is one of the most underrated soap ever.
It's my first advice every time someone ask for a better soap, but without breaking the bank.
One of the best q/p ratio ever !!!

These pics are outstanding.
Bravo.

Thanks!  I agree!  I would even go further and say that Stirling Soaps are right there are the top of the pyramid...with Sebum, SMN, Eufros, etc!

I always get a spectacular shave with them, and the slickness and protection are just top notch.

If I may, Lavanille does have the Mousse de Saxe recreation in it, so to me, it is a “sister scent” to Beaudelaire, which is one of my all-time favorites. Barrister and Mann also has a scent called Vespers with Mousse de Saxe in it. That one is a bit different than Beaudelaire and Lavanille, but also highly enjoyable.

Amazing lather shots in this thread!

Mystic Water Jeff's Lavender

When dialed in, the MW is awesome. Last 3 runs with it have been really nice. Synthetic brush-wrung out, slow hydration, big snotty load = fine yogurt like slick lather [Image: 22c2d83d5b7e11f4a905e078938ea461.jpg]

When it comes to Mystic Water Soap, that’s exactly the method that seems to work best for me, as well. Natural hair brushes work just fine, too, as long as all the other points are taken into consideration. Mystic is one of those soaps where once you think you’ve loaded enough, go ahead and load some more. It’ll be worth it. Smile
