I still enjoy a lot of American artisans and their shave soaps. I would happily survive without using SV and could stick with a few like Mystic Water (although still inconsistent in my results), Mike's and L&L or Declaration Grooming original formula. These are probably my best tallow/artisan soaps and maybe I would throw in a B&M white label. Mike's I think is the easiest for me to lather between these American artisans and I think part of that is the harder consistency of the puck. All in all, there have been many great soaps around for some time and still plenty of new soaps being made that I would enjoy. I am looking forward to shave the second half of this year. I have a couple samples of creams to use but plan to flip flop between some SV shaves and using some of the above mentioned soaps.

Speaking of SV...

Tommy...yes Stirling is absolutely in my top tier of soaps!  It’s incredibly fantastic in every performance category, I like most of the scents that I have tried, and it’s inexpensive.  I was going to use Sebum something or other next, but perhaps I will go with Stirling...at the moment I am feeling Iced Pineapple!

Gents,

Well Iced Pineapple would have been great, but I reached into the Stirling stack and grabbed Baker Street.  I ignored it, and found the Pineapple.  Then I reached into another drawer to grab the pineapple aftershave...first grab brought out Baker Street.  So I didn’t ignore the signs...went with Baker Street...worked out great!

Iced pineapple again!  I am testing some different finishers and the resultant edges, so I am trying to keep things the same!

Plus it’s AWESOME!
