2 1/2 day beard growth. Pulled out my new Declaration brush 11 Sweet Orange soap and AS and my Christopher Bradley F plate. WTG, XTG near BBS. I am finding the F plate to be smooth with just the right amount of blade feel, and it’s efficiency is right up there with my best razors. I am glad I sold the D plate as the E & F are working very nicely no matter what blade I use. Today was an Astra SP. I agree with previous posts that I am not saying this is the best razor ever but it has definitely become one that I reach for as part of my regular rotation.
I have used mine (c plate) for 4 days so far. I like it, smooth razor, not terribly difficult to get a good shave.
But I am having some difficulty getting a super close shave. At least i am not getting that easily. Probably have something to do with my lack of experience with the razor and technique. Also the smoothness isn't something unique to this razor, I have others just as smooth or even better, maybe.
So.. I like it, but not enough to bother getting more plates or to think about keeping it permanently in the den, not yet at least.

I had another good shave today with my Karve/F. I've been alternating the Karve with my new Asylum Evolution Model T. They're both very smooth but, based on a couple or three shaves with each, I'm finding the Model T a bit longer-lasting shave. It's early, so I have much more to discover with both razors. I'm pretty sure I'm going to enjoy both for a long time.

+1, this is what I am realizing, as well. I have used plate F for a few shaves now and I don't find it as effective or smooth as my Blackbirds, unfortunately. I'll keep trying to see if I can correct and improve things with plate F. I have plates C, D and E, as well, but they are less efficient than plate F.
