No postal update but plates delivered!

I agree with the above. Smoothness from the D carries over to the F which I used to shave 4 days of heavy long weekend growth. As David says above blade feel is suppressed, even with the F plate, so I’m expecting the same from the E. I’m not one who needs a lot of blade feel so it’s perfect.

Show me a better razor. Having used the top regarded razors on the forums the Karve is simply in a different league for me.

I’m right with you on this. I don’t own a Paradigm 17-4 but have shaved with one and the Karve E and F plate are superior to it in shave quality.

The 17-4 is a great razor but the Karve F (E tomorrow) tops it in end results and smoothness. The D is a wonderful daily workday plate.

I have been reading reviews of Chris’ work and they are top notch in all kinds of metals. He brings an engineering side to it as well.

Thats always the problem when a product becomes THE most hyped razor of the month or so. For me the 17-4 lived up to the hype, and I hope the Karve with D plate and 4” handle does the same.

I don't agree with that review. The Karve is an excellent razor but I wouldn't say it is better than the Paradigm or other high-end razors that I own as always everybody has different opinions and there is no right or wrong

And not everyone will agree which is what makes this hobby fun. The 17-4 still lives up to the hype for me. It’s still an amazing razor. The Karve D for daily shaving and F for added efficiency just adds that much more and is a smooth sail. Both beautiful razors!

So I get my best Shaves from a Rockwell 6C on plate 4 and am thinking about purchasing the Karve with D & F plates. Should I bother with the E at all?
