Posted the second pic of the E plate twice. I can’t see the difference but can truly feel the difference in the shave.

I was telling someone else that it is really hard to choose between the E and the F because they are both superb and super smooth with blade feel and feedback. They both give me the smoothest shave out of all of my DE razors and just moved my Charcoal Goods L3 dual plate in to 2nd place. Crazy but the Karve with the E or the F plate is just that good. The only newer DE that I don’t own that has gotten major attention for the smoothness of the Shave is the Paradigm 17-4. I have asked a fellow forum member to compare them as soon as the new plates are released by Chris which is coming very soon. If I had to choose, I would go with the F plate just because it is the most aggressive without being aggressive at all. I have had the smoothest and closest shaves from this razor now that I have been using the new plates and I must say that the D plate is no slouch either but there is definitely a difference when you move up to the E and F plates.

My new ranking on DE razors
1) Karve with E or F plate
2) Charcoal Goods Level 3 DC
3) Timeless .95 DC
4) Wolfman .74 DC
5) Blackbird OC
6) Ikon S3S
7) Tradere OC
8) Razorock Black Mamba
9) PAA DOC Evolution
10) Weber PH, Hone Type 15, Pils

This does not include slants. I own all of these but have never owned or tried a BBS-1 or a Paradigm 17-4. Remember, this is just my opinion.

That's an excellent list I would put the Paradigm right on top it's amazing you have the Karve number one. I can't wait to get one now with F plate

I forgot a couple things in that list. My Blackbird OC should be in the number 5 spot just below my Wolfman. Can’t believe I forgot that one!! Also, my list does not include my B&R Adjustable razor. As far as DE’s go, that would be in my top five.

I went ahead and edited my list in the original post to include the Blackbird.
