I love the D plate. Just bought a second complete razor. One will be polished.

I used the D blade today's hearing so much about it and wow - it has positive blade exposure. Truth be told it's a fantastic shaver however plate D wasn't as smooth as I thought it would be due for the blade feel..got a two pass and touch ups BBS shave and a few weepers as I tried the same loose technique as with the D blade and ignored that I had a polsilver on its second day !

This razor is a keeper for me, however the smoothness and efficiency of the D blade needs to be refined a bit IMO.

He sells only the bead blasted version. I'll polish it myself. Brass shouldn't be difficult.

They are not that hard to polish a couple of us have if you look earlier in the thread

Me too, sorta. I've already ordered one with a D plate, but that's for my wife (of course I'll have to test it to make sure everything is OK...shhh). I want to order another for myself with a C and E or F plate. I don't know if I can wait until they get released, but I'm also afraid the price will shoot up. This is the best deal going, IMO. It can't last forever!

I am considering one of these with B and C plates. I like the look and am hoping to find it shaves well too.

B plate is pretty mild. I’ve got B, C, and D plates. go with C and D.

I second this. The jump from C to D is significant. I love the C plate but the D plate feels just way to harsh from my liking

I am going to order with the B for now and if I need to order a different one later I will.
I was thinking 3.5" handle and now I'm wondering if I should get the 4" one.
I am using the Game Changer and before that Merkur Progress.
Is there a way to figure out which handle is best? Any recommendations?
Thanks
