sorry, Freddy...I didn't see your post earlier.

I have a few personna med prep blades that ShadowsDad sent me a while back.

Thanks for the clarification mate! I have no idea what they are exactly, but they are quite nice. But Andrew needn't go out of the way to pick them up. The Astras still work great in the S2.

Wanted to jump back in here to say I've resolved my own pink-bumps-on-neck issue with, oddly enough, what turned out to be the easiest thing ever: I've just stopped shaving ATG (or an upward pass at least) in that corner of my neck. Instead I do a second set of strokes downward at a slightly different angle. I still get pretty close, but no more pink bumpiness.

David : DE shaving since Nov 2014. Nowadays giving in to the single-edge siren call.

used my ATT S2 with an astra sp blade for the first time last night. I was surprised that the weight of the razor wasn't an issue for me - I tend to prefer lighter razors.

I didn't cut myself of have any weepers, so that's a positive step forward. I'm still dealing with bumps from previous shaves, but hopefully my new daily facial scrub as well as my DIY tend skin will help tame those things!

Great news andrewjs18! Whether or not you noticed any immediate improvement, the more important question is this: did you enjoy your shave with the S2? It's one of my favorite razors to shave with Smile.

I'll need more time with it, but so far, so good. It's been an incredibly long time since I last used a DE razor...I'm guessing probably closer to a year or better.

I still need to work out my angles and how I shave my neck. The biggest problem I have with shaving my neck is seeing what I'm doing when I shave the right side. I'm a lefty and hold the razor in my left hand to shave both sides of my face. Doing this blocks my view in the mirror.

I might switch it up and shave N-S at an angle to prevent an ATG pass to see how it goes.
