You will be a VERY happy camper with this then. This product is all about adding additional slickness and protection...

I just received my order with ‘Jasmine & Civet’ in the Lusso Base, and it smells Heavenly off the puck. I’m so glad I didn’t let the Civet scare me away from this one! I would love this scent in an Aftershave and EdP as well. I’m also looking forward to trying out the Lusso Base. The only Soap I’ve been using for the past week or so is ‘Mandarin Bay’ in the Donkey Base, one of my favorites!

No pics today but just wanted to say that the pre-shave Mandarin and Cardamom, Citrus Shaving soap and Mandarin and Cardamom post-shave serum are an outstanding combination!!

I have to admit I don't know what cardamom even is let alone what it smells like. However,I am most definitely a citrus lover. Can you possibly describe the scent if at all possible? I'm guessing it'll pair well with majority of citrus soaps?

The Mandarin and Cardamom is a hit! There is going to be a black label lightly scented Janus Mandarin and Cardamom. It's phenomenal! The scent composition has a floral lemony yellow mandarin essential oil along a juicy red mandarin essential oil.

Also, The serums and preshave and light Janus Bergamot & Ginger are the works Smile

I'hope you find my response amusing. My intentions are to be helpful Smile

Cardamom oil main constituents are: a-pinene, b-pinene, sabinene, myrcene, a-phellandrene, limonene, 1,8-cineole, y-terpinene, p-cymene, terpinolene, linalool, linalyl acetate, terpinen-4-oil, a-terpineol, a-terpineol acetate, citronellol, nerol, geraniol, methyl eugenol and trans-nerolidol.

to give you an idea of what it smells like: It shares many ingredients of the above with: Citrus, pine, lavender, mint, laurels, cinammaon and a lot of other things.

It's a powerful spice, it gives a warm feeling, it's lightly floral, citrusy, clove-like, can be dry and woody or pungent at times. It's not like Bay Rum but has that strong feeling about it, easily powers over other smells and flavors but can be delicate and adds diffusion to the scent at small doses.

You had me at a-phellandrene, I mean, who doesn't love that smell lol. In all seriousness though Im sold on trying the preshave. Kind of excited to see how it works with those lower quality soaps that I love the scent of but don't use much anymore because I've become spoiled with better performing soaps. Thanks
