Cardamom oil main constituents are: a-pinene, b-pinene, sabinene, myrcene, a-phellandrene, limonene, 1,8-cineole, y-terpinene, p-cymene, terpinolene, linalool, linalyl acetate, terpinen-4-oil, a-terpineol, a-terpineol acetate, citronellol, nerol, geraniol, methyl eugenol and trans-nerolidol.
to give you an idea of what it smells like: It shares many ingredients of the above with: Citrus, pine, lavender, mint, laurels, cinammaon and a lot of other things.
It's a powerful spice, it gives a warm feeling, it's lightly floral, citrusy, clove-like, can be dry and woody or pungent at times. It's not like Bay Rum but has that strong feeling about it, easily powers over other smells and flavors but can be delicate and adds diffusion to the scent at small doses.
