I'm new to serums. What exactly is the difference between a Serum and a balm? Isn't a Serum just a more nutrient dense balm? So why use a balm after a Serum?

For me....I find that serum..which is of a more liquid, slightly oily consistency than balms...is more of a moisturizer and skin food and I apply that first after I shave and rinse and rub it into the skin. It absorbs rapidly. A balm, to me is more a soother..and healer and works magnificently as a sealer after the serum. After trying each separately I found the combo works for me much better than each one on it’s own. But...as always...YMMV....

Thank you for helping clear that up.

Sunday preshave restock is rescheduled to Thursday Jan 24, 11:00AM-PST (lids are on a cross journey till Wednesday)

I'll start a New Release and restock thread. This time it will be locked, I'm the only one who can post to it, but anyone can subscribe to receive thread updates.

Thank you for the update Mohammad!

Now that the 'New Release and Re-stock thread' is locked for public response, perhaps you could consider providing "advance" notices when possible and if a tentative release date is changed, then you could update us accordingly by simply updating the same thread. Just a suggestion Mohammad, Grooming Dept's enthusiasts like myself will get products of their choice one way or another.

Hi Hooman The most advance notice I'll give is 48 hours. At least for a while. I want to only announce a shipping date when I can absolutely commit to it.

Thanks Mohammad! Speaking for myself, a 48-hour notice would be more than sufficient ;0)
