We will see how you feel if you ever have anything go wrong, like the others had in this thread.

Bottom line is, he was here, saw the concerns, said he would address them....then vanished.

Understood- I have a decent assortment of iKons currently so don't imagine picking up any in the future. The 102 replacement was an unexpected windfall and is working out thus far.

Weird, Anyone know if Greg resolved the problems ?
I have bought several items directly from Greg, and had no issues. I now buy all my Ikon stuff from Connaught Shaving because I'm a returning customer there and know Paul treats his customers very well.
But as said I have never had issues with Greg.
Have bought from him 3-4 times directly.

As a guy with OCD issues, I only buy new stuff. If I felt I ever received a used or defect item, I would claim a brand new item.

I bought an iKon DLC slant for my son's birthday and when it arrived I didn't even look at it and a couple of weeks later I sent it on to my son. He called to tell me the DLC coating was chipped in several places. I contacted iKon and they had my son send it to them and promptly mailed him a replacement along with a free handle. So that was good service. No apologies for letting the first razor slip through whatever quality control they use but at least they made it right.
I've had several iKon razors and the rest of them have been good. His communication is poor bordering on rude and he seems to not be interested in giving a customer anything but a strict interpretation of his warranty.

I'm really sorry to hear about this DonnerJack and hope you get it resolved.

But, My experience is similar to Claus..I own a number of Ikon razors bought directly from Greg and have never had any issues.

Didn't see this thread was still active! Thanks, it was partially resolved, my luck was that PayPal were decent. Don't do business with him, period. If you're still interested - then not directly. I'm glad you didn't encounter trouble, and enjoying your razors, but think about this: the fact that you didn't have trouble doesn't mean others didn't as well, and customer service should handle just that - events where something goes wrong.
Add the fact that no clarification came through - as Bruce said, it speaks volumes.

I was merely sharing my experience with you and not implying that just because I didn't have problems, that others didn't as well.

I didn't mean to come off insensitive. I'm glad it got partially resolved for you.
