I felt then that it has a great potential but resold it because of the sharp corners. Now with Gen2, one can get the best out of the BB. Truly, its a game changer. Thank you Shane for listening to users' feedbacks. I assume that they will be a mid length handle some day.

I'm happy to hear that!

Adding a medium length handle is something I'm looking into. The community is certainly calling for it so I'd like to make that happen.

I have been shaving with my new polished Blackbird for about two weeks now. I love the smoothness and efficiency of the razor. Plus, it is easily one of the nicest razors I own along with my Wolfman. Shane's customer service is top notch and he is a pleasure do business with.

Coming! Working on a couple other things, too. Should be a fun second half of 2016 and first half of 2017!

Slants slants slants. It would be very interesting to see what your slant would look like. I can already guess it might be the coolest looking slant.

Out of the slants that I have, only the iKon 102 is a good daily (x3 isn't here yet). I hope you're slant would also be gentle enough as a daily while maintaining optimum efficiency that many slants are known for.

Even the S1 which is one of my favorites can turn harsh if I shaved with it everyday, however my skin has always been prone to irritation.

I'm excited to see what you come up next Shane.

The slant will provide about the same level of aggression as the SB Blackbird so it will be similar in terms of daily driving. I use the Blackbird every day and so far the 3D printed slant prototypes are similarly suitable for daily use. Of course, that may not be the case for everyone.

Sounds great. Time to go into production and get in into the people's hand!!!

Now that I have tried the SB, I agree it is a good daily. It's not harsh at all. Hope to see what's next, Shane.
