I would love to. Anodizing is the hangup. We’ve had a really hard time finding a high quality provider without finish problems.

This would definitely be cool. I can round out my Blackbird metal collection. I already have brass, stainless, and titanium, as well as a jet. Would there be a choice of finishes or just specific ones? I'm guessing the latter.

Shane, if my intention is to allow the brassbird to develop a natural patina, over the years would a brass razor that started off with a polished finish look different than one that started out with a satin finish? (besides the uniformity you mentioned in the email)

In general, polished should tarnish less severely and more slowly. This is because polishing reduces the surface area so there is less brass to develop patina.
