Hallows is nice too but doesn't come close to Leviathan for me.

I can smell it on my towel the next day after drying off from my morning shower.

Okay, I'm convinced. You guys are killing me though; between this, and Hallows, and the Reserve products, (not to mention my other recent B&M purchases) and then the winter scents coming out later this year -- my shaving expenses have become a bit, um, fiscally unsound. I was planning on getting just samples until I read all this glowing praise. Now I'm telling myself it'll be cheaper to just spring for the full products Smile

You would know best, but the landscape is different now.

B&M has that effect on many. I should warn you however, Leviathan is definitely not for everyone. It is a polarizing scent to put it lightly, but those of us who like it, love it.

I appreciate the warning, but I'm not too worried (aside from the effect on my finances). I trust Will's scent palette and his ability to paint from it, so to speak. When I hear that one of his scents is polarizing, I get excited, because I know I will experience something different. Maybe even boundary pushing. I was never into aftershaves until I started using his products. Now, experiencing different scents is my favorite part of shaving. Maybe that's actually an argument in favor of purchasing samples - but it's a tough call when sample prices are around 20% of the price of a full bottle. Especially once you factor in the cost of shipping, twice, assuming I go on to get a full bottle. I go back and forth on this a bit, because I don't expect to love everything I try. But with B&M products, I at least know I'll find them interesting, and that I'll end up expanding my knowledge of scents, too.

the good thing about Will's soap is that if they're not for you, there's NO DOUBT someone will buy them up..

I admire your plan, and pretty much did the same thing when I first discovered B&M. You probably know by now that if a scent from B&M doesn't appeal to you at first, just shave with it a few times and see if that changes. Good luck! I hope you enjoy Leviathan as much as I do.

I decided to buy a full puck of Seville and roll with a sample of the Leviathan from Maggard. If I love it I'll just get the full puck.

I'd love to get some roam! Is it going to be made again?

Will has said no. But I believe personally he'll make a little more one day.

Probably not, but I can't say for certain. We discontinued it because sales were mediocre and people kept sending us emails asking us to make it smell like urine and hot dogs. But maybe?

Another vote for the return of Diamond. I love it. I would enjoy a matching tonique as well. Will, if you ever decide to do a special engagement of orders, please let DFS know!
