Good question. Also, will it be Glissant? The picture on the B&M shows last year's Leviathan in original formula.

RazoRock posted a picture on Instagram yesterday saying that Leviathan was going live at noon today on Italianbarber.com. The soap in the picture has the same label as last years with what I believe is the Glissant formula printed on the front, so I'm almost positive it will be same label as last year in the Glissant formula.

The aftershave label is slightly different but nothing dramatic.

Minor differences in the label (barcode has been moved to the bottom of the jar, logo orientation is a little different, ingredient list is different, etc.), but we don't have pictures of it just yet, so we'll have photos up for a few hours that depict the older packaging. Regardless, yes, this is definitely a Glissant soap. Smile

Next Summer, yes.

Everything is Glissant from now on

That's correct. Smile And Seville is up for re-release today too!

Seville is never limited but, no, for the time being, it does not have a splash.

This is actually good for me. My OCD dictates that if a soap has a splash, I must use it. Conversely, if a splash has a soap, I must use it. If there's no defined pair, I'm released from that constraint and can use whatever splash I want. In this case, I will have the freedom to use one of the Barrister's Reserve splashes. Compulsion is a stressful and expensive albatross.

That's not to say that there are some soaps I wish had paired splashes <cough>Fireside<cough>.

Sorry about that; we weren't comfortable with making a splash that actually smelled like cognac. Seemed like a bad idea.

Also, if you're looking for recs, both Classic and Cool pair extremely well with Seville. Smile But, just a heads up, there will be a splash eventually. We have a lot of people asking.

Just got an email from Will that made my day:

I'm so happy that Seville is out in Glissant, as well as a Glissant Leviathan. Feels like Christmas in September.

Seville has to be one of my favorite scents, and to have it in the new base is something I know will go right in the rotation. I've never tried Leviathan, and am really looking forward to it.

Hurry back, Will!
All the best,

I know. We've had this conversation before. I'd though we were past that. We don't mind smelling like cognac. Hell, with your offerings we can smell like sex or even death, but you somehow draw the line at alcohol.
