My soap/AS samples arrived today and I will give you my opinion of the scent as we all know that Excelsior soap is superb. I spritzed my arm with the AS sample and my brain froze for a moment..................then I immediately "recognized" the scent:  this is very similar to Pinaud Clubman, but far better "rounded" and not nearly as harsh. Outstanding!!! For lovers of Pinaud Clubman the Sunny Lane soap will be manna from Heaven!! This one took audacity to make and straight out of nowhere!! Color me impressed!! 

I got delivery of B&M Softheart Unscented earlier this week - I now have three softhearts - Big Leap, Amazlenut and Unscented - this is a really excellent soap base and I hope that Will increases his production of this line.

They smell like cheaper diapers because they aren't as expensive as buying the whole set blind

B&M makes very unique scents and if you smell enough of Will's creations, you will find some you like and at least one that is a total turn off. Anyways, I've had many of Wil's creations and they are not all my favorite but many are my all time favorite scents in all of shavedom being in wetshaving the last 8 years. I'm not really into buying soaps for scent or fragrance anymore but this is why I'm happy Will has expanded more into his creations being made into products outside of shave soap. I was rocking my Roam EdT a couple weeks ago while California was in a  rainy spell. Many do not like Roam or have hated it's guts over the smell. Well....what can I say, it's a masterpiece to me and when I get to wear it, I am so happy to be able to smell something unique. I get more use out of my Fougere Aromatique EdT during spring weather and that is a lovely scent as well. Another masterpiece to my nose!

One random question people, was there a Cologne Russe EdT ever made?
