He's been grousing about Hallows since the first mass release when the site had issues and crashed. In 2016 it was again a mess. No idea how this year is going, but I suspect it's as crazy as always - just look at the EdT packaging and the again re-designed artwork on the soap and aftershave.
The artwork is the same as 3 releases ago I think.
As for permanently retiring Hallows, I guess thats their prerogative, however, I'm thinking there are plenty of artisans that would love to have the problems of a Hallows. Giving buyers what they want has always been a reasonably reliable business model but there are many aspects of the shaving business that don't seem to follow conventional business reasoning. In a way, thats what keeps things interesting and unpredictable.
