Sorry I haven't been around much, everyone. Getting ready for the Night Music launch is taking up a lot of my time.
I cant imagine how much time it really takes to test, review, then write up blog posts like this. Nice job. Can you do this one next?

ck One is on my list (without Louis CK; great joke, though ), but this coming week is actually going to be Geoffrey Beene Grey Flannel. I was originally going to review Dior Sauvage (different from Eau Sauvage), but found that about the nicest thing I could say about it is that it reminds me very strongly of carpet freshener. Since I tend to take a lot of flak when I tear fragrances down that way, I decided that perhaps it was better to simply cover something that I quite like, particularly because Sauvage has proven to be very popular.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, Will (
Barrister_N_Mann)! Dior Sauvage absolutely STINKS (in my humble opinion, of course
) and calling it carpet freshener truly denegrates carpet freshener. That Dior would name it so similarly to Eau Sauvage, which is wonderful (again, in my humble opinion
) is criminal, as far as I am concerned. In fact, it is the Sauvage type of "modern scent" that is so common now and I think smells like stale urine (once again, in my humble opinion
). All of these Sauvage type of scents have absolutely no nuance. They are all loud and offensive. Give me a classic scent, such as Dior's Eau Sauvage, Hermès Terre d'Hermès, Dunhill (original), Roger & Gallet L'Homme, Annick Goutal Eau du Sud (or Eau d'Hadrien), or Guerlain Vetiver over these newer scents any day.
