Depends on how bright the light is. If you keep them in bright sunlight, then yes, everything, even the contents of the brown bottles, will begin to break down. If they're kept in a relatively shaded place and only see direct light every so often, they should be just fine.

Thanks, just what I wanted to know. I'll make sure to keep them out of direct sunlight. Do these changes happen quickly? Like in a matter of days or weeks, or more like months?

Again, depends on the exposure. If you keep them away from direct, constant light, it would take at least a year for you to notice any degradation. If you left them in direct sunlight, they would be worthless in a matter of months, if not sooner.

This is valuable information. Back in the cabinet they go, just to be safe Smile
I'd only wanted to take them out because you've done such a nice job with the labels. These winter ones are almost as nice to look at as they are to wear. Really spot on for the season.

I feel that the latha figgy puddin is a"must-buy." I am extremely impressed. The scent is incredible and the performance is excellent. Any b&m fan needs to get it

ouch! I'd definitely keep the blogs on your own site for those reasons. DFS would welcome duplication if you want to copy them over here as well. Smile

It's highly unusual for ANY Western house to produce a fragrance that incorporates real oud (this goes for Creed, Dior, Guerlain, and various others). Perhaps the only major house that actually uses real oud in its designs is Amouage, which does so on a limited and very expensive basis, and only keeps up the tradition because it's the personal perfume house of the Omani royal family.

maybe I'll recommend the Amouage to her the next time I see her..probably this Friday.

Couldn't agree more. This one really was a wonderful surprise. So perfect for the holidays, too.

If anyone gets you a scented candle, throw that crap away and crack open a tub of Figgy Puddin' instead. It's the most wonderful scent of the year â¬
