Yes. The poem is included in the description on the product page on B&M's site.

D'oh! Smile In my defence, since Barrister and Mann stopped shipping outside the US I rarely go to the website so I guess I missed that.

OK, you know you have too much soap when you get a package delivered and you have no recollection of having ordered it.  I got a delivery from Jon at Canadian Blade Co today with a tub of Barrister and Mann Adumbrare in it.  Couldn't remember ordering it, couldn't find it in my order history at Canadian Blade, couldn't even remember B&M releasing Adumbrare, so I googled Barrister and Mann Adumbrare and presto, my memory came back!  Its a Reddit LE I ordered in November and had completely forgotten about. Big Grin   What a treat.  The scent notes were a secret, it smells nice.  Will, can you tell me what the scent notes are?

Thanks

Afraid that I still can't tell you that, Marko. The contest hasn't actually started yet, so no one has begun guessing!

Cool, I guess I just ordered it without reading any details - probably another sign of too much soap. Or aging? Maybe both. What the heck, I'm buying more soap. I'm actually on Reddit but almost never go there. I mean theres only so much time in a day and what with all the soap I have to look at, sniff, stack, re-stack using a different system, maybe shave with it Big Grin Now I have to actually engage my nose brain and see if I can pick out different scent. I'll keep my thoughts to myself so as to preserve the integrity of the contest. It smells very nice though. What does the contest winner get?

And I'm grateful that my hopes from a year ago were fulfilled.

OK, I read the thread over at reddit. Interesting. While not directly addressed I'm guessing there is no prize for guessing correctly but rather, the winner would have the honour of being recognized as some kind of nose. My money is on nobody guessing correctly.

Oh no, there's absolutely a prize: a 50 ml bottle of each of our three EdP releases this year, plus two unique coffee mugs created by Rebecca Graves-Prowse for the Fougère Gothique launch last year. They're not identical, but form a set. Smile

Thats pretty cool, however, while fun for the average shaver like me to make what would be uneducated guesses at the scent notes in the soap, the eventual winner would have to either have some expertise in scent or have the assistance of someone who has expertise. No disrespect but what you and others skilled in the art do is alchemy and I like it that way. It should make for some lively discussion though.

No disrespect taken. I sacrificed a bat and harvested the tears of a thousand pregnant goats to create Adumbrare, after all. Wink

Thanks Will, that gave me a good laugh and my face is still broadly smiling - laughing yoga.
