Man, the hate is unreal... I highly doubt Anthoney's soap and balm were inspired by greed. I see this as one artist paying homage to another artist he greatly admired with the one thing he expresses himself with... Soap. I get where everyone is coming from but dang, we're supposed to be a family in this community... how bout giving him the benefit of the doubt before crucifying him for something he didn't intend.

Hate is a strong word and rather out of place but I guess if you want to make a point without much effort you can use such emotionally charged words. I and other have legitimate reservations of the use of another person's name and image to sell a product unless there is due respect paid including legal respects. That's not hate that's concern.

For the record, I looked at the site and wouldn't mind purchasing some of his soaps, they look rather good.

We're a family. I know we are. I'll get back to Woodstock at hopefully 6ish if there's not sheep on Route 4. The boys will probably be fishing in the river behind the house, 1/2 a mile down I'm sure. Lucky their still alive. Wife and daughters probably baking a cake with no care in the world. Takes me an hour to clean the kitchen. Boys are alive, we grill their fish & ate the girls cake. That's Monday. Family!

Is it colour free or Royal Purple?

Our soaps are phthalate free, SLS (Sodium Laureth Sulfate) free, colour free (other than colour produced by the fragrance / essential oil used) and Paraben free.

Ingredients: Saponified Stearic Acid, Aqua (Water), Saponified Tallow,  Glycerine, Saponified Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil,  Fragrance (Essential Oils and/or Fragrance), Sodium Lactate, Sucrose, Lanolin, Royal Purple Colouring, Tussah Silk.

No benefit of the doubt by me.  It's embarrassing and a joke.

He stole his image and is profiting off his death. Nothing more, nothing less.  It doesn't matter how many are made or what the item is, he is using image to promote his soap.  It got me to look, I had never heard of these guys.

to me, it doesn't bother me to use a photo. I'm just curious how one comes up with a scent profile for a singer. is the scent funky and eclectic?

I don't see an "artist" going out of his way to hurry up and pimp purple shave soap before the dude is even cold. I could be wrong, just because a guy is an "artist" doesn't mean he cant be exploitive and low class.
