I recently picked up a whole bunch of Timeless Razor parts (two base plates, two caps, a handle and a stand) and used that combo above this morning. Supremely mild, yet didn't leave any stray stubble like mild razors typically do for me - and without extra strokes.

This razor continues to impress me, daily.

This.

Or, the Blackbird. Sensitive skin here as well, Andrew. It's my daily beater now.

after shaving with my GEM 1912..1 visible ingrown and a razor bump. I think it'll get better as I spend more time with the razor...

I generally prefer razors on the aggressive side, because I can achieve a DFS/BBS with only two passes (WTG, ATG), instead of three or more with milder razors. Some of my favorites are the ATT R1 and the RR Wunderbar.

Lately, I've fallen in love with the RR Ti Baby Smooth. It feels like a mild razor, but still only requires two passes to get a DFS+ shave. I'm really happy with it. It's probably the most forgiving and smooth razor I've tried, yet seems to be about as efficient as the R1.

I know this thread is really asking more about razors but I've also found for me that pre shave oil works wonders in protecting the skin and reducing irritation. That coupled with an efficient razor and not too many passes is my ticket.

I get less irritation with a RR Wunderbar than most mild(er) razors. I don't know if it's because it's a slant, or just aggressive, or maybe a combination of both, but this razor leaves me with zero irritation. I never have to go over an area twice. DFS/BBS in two passes (WTG, ATG). I never thought I'd enjoy aggressive razors before trying this one out. Now, it's made me curious about exploring other slants and possibly other razors deemed aggressive.

At the moment, however, I'm quite content to shave with this Wunderbar.

I've found what could be my perfect shave - Rockwell 6s R6 plate and a feather blade. So smooth and efficient.
