I need a drink or two…..

Looks very fixable to me unless there is unseen damage. Good thing this tank is overbuilt because it looks like you avoided bending anything which would be the hardest to fix. This is just added character.

Wow Gus I’m so sorry my brother! I’d be poring a stiff one to. Is it not functional or is it just the finish?

Oh shoot Gus,  that stinks.  Gonna take some SS cosmic surgery of some sort. Yeah I'd think it can be recovered.

The ends on one side of the safety bar are slightly rolled. Has roughened dimples along the guard which I believe may be buffed out. It’s the rolled corners on the safety bar that have me a bit concerned. I’ll send an email in the morning and go from there. It’s just a razor and there are way more important things going on but, it still stings a little. We’ll see…..

Sorry this happened to you.  I know your pain.  I was gutted when it happened to me.

First one was my 2020, chipped the corner on the middle of the top cap while washing it vigorously on my facet head.  Waited about 9 months until I received a replacement top cap from Murat, along with my order of the 2021.

I also managed to mess up my 2021.  It fell onto my Parker 94R when I was reaching for it and toppled off the stand, landed onto the knurling of the Parker..if you've seen the knurling on the Parker you'd know why.  Damages to the left underside of the lather channel.

Now admittedly my damages are nowhere near yours, but I will be seeking repair on it in the near future.  I'm going to try to find a local jewelry repair shop.  I think they can use some metal filler to repair the chips and deformity, and buff out the scratches.

Once you're feeling better about it, stick a blade in there and see if the safety bar was affected in such a way as to expose more of the blade. If not, you should be good to go.

Edit to explain better: The cutting edge is ~37mm. If the safety bar was rolled inward to make the safety bar shorter, say 35mm, then I'm not sure that's very fixable. It doesn't look like that's the case to me.

OMG, I am so sorry my friend. Gus, I feel your pain, That stings. I’m really hoping Murat can help you out somehow. Hoping it will all work out in the end, maybe its cosmetic and this tank can still shave well. Fingers crossed for you my Friend.

if he will be ok to fix it, I recommend you to get a shipping advice from him.
There are 20% import fees, he might help you not to pay this fee for service.
