I tend to jump on purchases on a whim. Perhaps a restraint isn't the answer, but I really do go a bit too far.
The gimmick is that there's almost always one or two items that are currently out of stock. When I finally get the notification that an item is back in stock, then typically something else has become unavailable, so it could take months before I actually place an order.
This also gives me the opportunity to ditch an item in which I have lost interest, and substitute something with a higher priority.
As I've already broken my sabatical for January, but I'm just going to work on curbing the itchy trigger finger.
