I also received the DFS LE brush today in the UK. Sadly it was pretty scratched/beat-up on arrival. I've sent envyshave a PM and email about it. I'm sure we can resolve the problem.

Yes, those issues are better served in private than the open forum. Great first post! Geez!

Hector, the gentleman believes he can work things out with Nathan and his post was informative, not abusive.

I thought it was agreed several posts ago to deal with this as gentlemen.  Without specifics anybody could wrongly assume it was Nathan's fault.  I don't appreciate generalities when talking about reputations. Nothing informative about that post, but a gripe.

If I'm wrong about that, my apologies, but that's part of my system of values.

Freddy   Just to be clear, I understand what you mean, I just want more details.  Was it the post office?  What kind of scratches, etc.

If we are going to bring quality control issues about a vendor, I think we should be specific as possible.

With all due respect, Hector, that is not what was agreed upon.  No one is beating up on Nathan. It's been made quite clear that he will, without question, make it right. His reputation remains unblemished. Some people find it distasteful for anyone to acknowledge or report an issue in the open forum, while others feel a tactful post about a less than perfect experience is essential to an open forum. Both sides have valid points. No one supports bullying, whether it be a vendor or a brand new member.

I guess my understanding was wrong. I wouldn't do it, but that's me. Thanks brother!

The impression I got from Mr_Smartepants post was it was damaged during transit. I'm sure Nathan would not of sent it out like that.
When I picked mine up from the post office (I had to pay custom duty) the packaging was in a bad way, but luckily for me my brush was okay.

That was how I interpreted Erik's post, also. Seeing how some padded envelopes arrive from overseas, I'm always grateful when my postman hands over a box to me.
