I just received mine and its lovely. I'll provide a picture once I've loosened it up from its plastic sarcophagus - its a synth me being a foreigner and all but very nice. Those badgers look particularly badass.Happy2

I got number 44 today. It's a synthetic. I already have a luxury silvertip from him and will be getting an envy white later. I'll use it tomorrow with the soap sample he included.

I have two other brand synthetics and this LE brush in silvertip. I'd like to hear how you like the LE in synthetic as compared to the silvertip.

Number 25 arrived yesterday with an Envy White. Great knot, very dense, lots of backbone. Nice amount of scrub at the moment, looking forward to seeing how it goes over the next couple of weeks.

No, this was a problem during the coloring process.   The heater element rubbed up against a few of the handles while the color was being set.  I filtered out the bad ones, but a couple  mistakenly made it back onto my workbench while reorganizing.   I got your PM, I'm confident you will be happy with my resolution.

Am I being too picky?  After having to return my first brush due to blemishes that were explained to me to be manufacturing defects that were inexplicably put into rotation for shipment, I've received now a second brush with clumps of black tarry substance in the tips that I assume is epoxy.  My initial experience with EnvyShave has been less than favorable. I assume I will now have to ship yet another one back?  I don't know if I'm even interested anymore.  This is disappointing.

You are not being too picky. Send it back I'll give you a full refund. Sorry.

I'd like to make a suggestion that I think would be to the benefit of DFS members as well as our vendor community- I think it is preferable to handle minor deficiency concerns relating to quality, fit and finish via the PM (personal message) route rather than through open posting. I have found all of the vendors and artisans that I've dealt with to be extremely accommodating with respect to questions and concerns that I have had and I think it's only fair to give them the opportunity to remedy any concerns in a discreet manner.  If for some reason the vendor fails or refuses to make it right, then by all means post about it but let's be reasonable and give them a chance before we air our grievances in the open forum.  Does that sound like a fair suggestion?
