Can't wait to see the comparative reviews from the "carriage trade" who WILL own both the ATT SE1 and the One Blade. Stands to reason that if the reviews on the OB continue to be very positive, that someone will ape the OB design and produce a good and functional version at half or less cost, if the patent situation allows. Any thoughts on how the OB is or is not protected? The ATT SE also interests me since I am a big fan of their S1 and S2 slants. But I doubt that the ATT SE will be similar to the OneBlade. I guess it would be in the same price category since they are both high end razors, but now that I've used the OneBlade, I don't really see a comparison to razors like the ATT SE and the Mongoose. The construction and overall design of the OneBlade is quite different, and the pivoting head actually matters for achieving a proper angle on some of my more difficult spots. Also, the blades that are used in each system seem very different.
I'll likely pick up the ATT SE once the head is available by itself, but I can't imagine it being comparable to my OneBlade. The Mongoose/ATT SE systems are more closely related to a DE design, while the OneBlade is more like a highly evolved cartridge razor that uses an extraordinarily sharp and thick DE-sized SE blade.
