I used the oneblade exclusively for about 10 months when they first came out. It was literally the only razor I kept, sold off all my other razors, which included my Cobra,King Cobra and Mongoose. This year, early January, I tried the General. For me, the shave was the same as the oneblade, but the longevity of the BBS lasted much longer. That prompted me to sell my oneblade (which I swore I would never do) AND my backup oneblade also.) I than bought my only DE I own the timeless .95 OC. Than I bought the Asylum RX recently which really upped the longevity of the shave. I never thought I could get a better shave than the oneblade, but the general and especially the RX...OH MAN-----The main reason I believe I enjoy the shaves so much are the artist club blades. IMO,they can't be beat by the FHS-10, gem or any DE blade.

Yes, I definitely have used razors with the Artist Club blades. I have a full set B1 Mongoose as well as being a prototype tester for the General. Also, I have a v1 AlumiGoose. My preference for the OneBlade comes down to my preference for the GEM blade. The Artist Club blades work well for me, in fact I used the Mongoose exclusively forn15 months before getting the OneBlade. After going back to the GEM blades, my skin hasn't appreciated the Artist Club blades very much. I can't really explain it, but they feel much rougher to me now.

So, for the foreseeable future, my answer for the "What Razor Did You Use Today?" thread will continue to be: OneBlade.

That's pretty much why I don't post in that thread. I'm a broken record. Wink

Hello Gentlemen,

I purchased the Oneblade v1 but sold it after a couple of weeks : excellent shaver, the most gentle of all razors I had for my terrible skin but the shave experience was quite boring. I recently purchased the v2 in Gunmetal. It is stunning on every aspects: the shave experience is much more exciting (sound feedback, blade feel) and the finish is amazing. I sold all my DE. Now I am stuck to the OB for long, I think.

Lacaff, I’m glad to hear that you have found something that works so well for you. I believe many of us are on that same quest, but have not perhaps quite arrived “there” yet. Smile

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

Does "there" even exist? I'm really starting to wonder...

Just when you thought the thread was dead!

I actually dropped my version 1, bent the head, got supremely pissed and abandoned the oneblade altogether. Anger gone, grabbed a version 2 and was reminded of why I bought my Oneblade in the first place. Still gives effortless BBS shaves every time.
