You tried to like this razor, but...

The OneBlade. I sold off like 15 injectors to help fund the costs of the OneBlade when it went on sale for $200.

I haven't been able to properly use the razor yet as both the original razor and the replacement razor were defective. I'm just moving on from the company and probably won't ever get to try a properly working razor from them.

Oh well....

I have not been able to get along with my Ikon Tech (only tried it 3 times) I have not given up yet but I don't know when I will shave with it again. I do like my other Ikon razors though (I have the DLC Slant, and the 102 Slant).

I like my DLC slant and 102 slant as well. But that short comb...mama mia! [And I'm not Italian].

The razor I couldn't get along with was the vintage Pal Adjustable Injector. I tried it from a pass around a while back and was excited by all of the rave reviews. Unfortunately, I found it to be the least smooth of all of the injectors I've used. I really liked the design and the unique way the adjustment mechanism worked. It looks like it belonged on the Starship Enterprise or something. Maybe I should pick up one of my own to give it a fair run?

The Ikon X3 slant. I have an old Merkur slant that really does a nice job. The Ikon though just doesn't do it for me.

Wolfman's. I would have loved to get the same results I've been reading about but they just don't work that well for me, specially the OC.

A bit too harsh

What I'm learning is that there are a lot of angles, amount of exposure, etc.... that have to be just right for a razor to do a good job.

I view a razor being very aggressive differently than one being harsh. I think of the R41 or Feather Double edged blades as being aggressive, and they don't work for everyone.

I recently was able to try a high end razor. It wasn't aggressive, though with blades that work well for me I simply could not find an angle that felt anything other than harsh.

Gillette and Schick for the most part figured that our before putting double edged razors on the market.

As I try different things, I find that I'm being more and more attracted to workhorse razors from companies like Merkur and Muhle where they have figured all the angles and amount of exposure out before putting it on the market.

Your ( Pete123 ) aggressive is my effective, whereas your harsh is my aggressive. Aggressive is how easy is it to get hurt (nicks, razorburn etc). Effective how easy does it remove beard. Most folk searching more aggressive mean more effective (or more efficient, which boils down to the same thing). .

efsk , we're on the same page. More aggressive means more efficient. i.e. cut the same amount of whisker in fewer strokes, etc...

Wolfman SB & OC. I tried really hard to like these razors due to the 'hype' and absolutely perfect build quality. I just found both to give just average shaves at best and a bit rough as well. Sold one and gave the SB to my brother who prefers other razors as well. I don't get the fascination with them anymore.

Razorock Slab. I loved how efficient the razor was but I just did not like the face feel of the blade. I also did not care for the Edwin Jagger DE89 and early on, ended up choosing the Merkur 34C over it.

Seyguss and Gillette Tech. I really liked holding both but I could not get an efficient shave from either one.

The tech was funny as well, since I enjoy my late 50s Super Speed so much, but the Tech I had was an aluminum handle and very light as is the Seyguss and both just failed to perform for me...
