I just found both to give just average shaves at best and a bit rough as well. Sold one and gave the SB to my brother who prefers other razors as well. I don't get the fascination with them anymore.

You know what is funny. I felt the exact same way for a minute. I got the Wolfman WR1 SB .61 a couple months ago, and I just did not fall in love with it the way I did the new Timeless and my ATT S1. Used it, used it, tried different angles, pressure adjustments and man, I thought for sure it was going up for auction. At the time I was using my favorite blades (Gillette Silver blue/Feather). On a whim, I decided to try an Astra I had laying around in the Wolfman. It was like a different razor, and everything I was expecting showed up. Smoothness, efficiency, the whole nine yards. Anyway, I thought I'd share that I had the exact same thoughts as you and only one razor blade, kept me from shipping this one down the road. Now I get fantastic shaves with the Wolfman. It still is not my absolute favorite razor (timeless).

Tradere OC first gen. A beautiful razor but after trying almost all DE blades on the market, I gave up - it felt that together with the stubble the razor removed a good deal of my epidermis and my face looked like a raw steak for a few hours afterwords...

The tech was funny as well, since I enjoy my late 50s Super Speed so much, but the Tech I had was an aluminum handle and very light as is the Seyguss and both just failed to perform for me...

Agreed, those techs are too mild. My favorite is the English flat bottomed tech, if you haven't tried it yet, this may work better for you, Chris.

I appreciate the tip, but at this point I've really lost interest in safety razors. I love my straights too much. I have 3 DE and 1 SE still hanging around but other than that...

Ikon 103 I agree 100%
I want to like it so bad but it's edges are sharp.

Also Gillette adjustables

Mühle R41
iKon OSS
iKon stainless steel slant

I was lucky enough to try the R41 before actually buy it. not for me.
As for the iKons, I bought them, tried them, decided that they weren't for me, and ended up selling them.

Schick Krona, just couldn't get a close shave with it regardless of blade. It's a moot point now that I found vintage se razors.

I wanted to like the razors witht the flat blade presentations- Pils, iKon Modern, Tradere OC and SB, Mühle R-41, etc. I feel blade chatter was the culprit in all instances.

Ikon 102. It was just rough shaving for me so I traded it.
