Not sure. I bought it years ago and its no longer offered. Easily my favorite handle ever!

Halo DLC

Nope, this does not have the DLC finish. This has a tumbled finish. I believe it was sorta a prototype Halo handle from around 2016. It has a slightly larger base too. (see second pic below).

I do have a couple of the DLC halo handles though. Awesome handle for only $20. It fits the Yates too! (See last pic).

After using the Yates with an H plate for a week of daily shaves, I can say that it is one of the best razors out there, period. The only razors I would rate higher are the RS-10/18 and Wolfman, enough said!

The design and the stone wash finish are both very unique, which I appreciate. It kind of reminds me of a tank.

My only suggestion would be to narrow the head a bit, to a maximum width of a DE blade.

I'm REALLY looking forward to the EH base plate!

Sorry I missed it, but what is the “EH” plate? More aggressive than the H plate?

Crazy. The H plate seems pretty darn aggressive to me with a big gap

I've had this (H plate) razor for more than a week and have nothing but good things to say about the shave.  It shaves a lot like a Blackbird but better, giving me a cleaner shave while being easier on my skin.  It has a similar blade curvature as the Blackbird, but a larger blade gap (H plate), and a superior blade vice.  It is the better blade vice that makes it a lot less bitey, whilst giving it a cleaner and more efficient shave.  It beats every other razor I have yet tried, with the only exception being the H&S Co. P076 SB.  I have no criticisms of it's function.  However I do have a few small constructive criticisms of it's esthetics and design.

First the esthetics.  I don't really like the stonewash finish.  I bought the head only, as they didn't have any handles in stock at the time, and the stonewashed head just doesn't mate well with any of my polished handles.  Also, IMO putting a brand in the middle of the topcap cheapens the look of the razor.  Now for the design.  The razor head, both the topcap and the baseplate, are 2 mm longer than the blade.  This exposes the center ridge of the baseplate (IMO an esthetic negative) and makes the razor slightly less nimble.  I prefer a shorter razor, even if it exposes the blade tabs.  Exposed blade tabs make the blade easier to remove.  I have never in my many years of shaving cut my ear on an exposed blade tab.

So my suggestions to Mr. Yates are:  1) Get rid of the brand on the topcap, and 2) shorten the head by preferably 4 mm, but at least 2 mm.  In my opinion these suggestions would improve your product.  It is nonetheless a most excellent razor, and I wish you continued success.

I personally prefer not having the blade tabs exposed. I shave my head daily. I would prefer not risking nicking my ears.
I've never had a problem with covered blade tabs.
