Update: Razor was shipped to Keto last week and should be in his hands tomorrow. I will post my review in the near future. I was totally surprised and happy with 3 of the 4 plates.

Looking forward to your thoughts especially on the EH plate

I got the razor today and will get a shave with it tonight. I'm unsure which plate to start with, probably EH plate. Especially since Jake of YatesPrecision was so nice to include the EH into this passaround, very nice and accommodating.
This shave was with two days of growth and using the EH plate.
Razor: Yates w/ EH plate
Soap: A&E Kaizen, bowl/ face lather
Blade: Feather (1)
This razor seemed very first on the WTG pass and low blade feel.
2nd pass XTG went nice also.
3rd pass ATG was smooth and I did not really notice what I would call blade chatter, pretty quiet.
The below jawline area is almost always a battle for me and this shave was the same battle, in that area.
I go WTG,XTG, ATG, try to stretch and flatten the surface meanwhile.
After that battle of below the jawline especially on the right side I ended up with a close shave.
I was looking at the differences in the plates EH,H,and M and noticed that the EH did not have the scallops. So I'm curious to try the H plate with scalloping.
The scallops on the H and M look slightly different, just an observation.

Jake YatesPrecision the scallops have any influence on the shaving?
Would it make the EH more aggressive?
Would it make the EH more aggressive?

Personally I expect scallops add to the efficiency of a plate.
In the Timeless I've owned, the scallop was square in between the SB and Open Comb so that's what I'm thinking.
It probably matters exactly where scallops are on a plate and shape, depth sort of things too.
Probably lots of opinions out here, which is good.

2nd shave with the Yates pass around
Razor: Yates H plate
Soap : A &E Kaizen base
Blade: Feather (2)
2days of growth
This was another good smooth shave, with the H plate this shave.
Actually I could not tell a lot of difference between the H plate and the EH plate, probably just me, please note (but with only one shave on each plate.)
The under the jawline areas that are most difficult were shaved about the same with this plate, as the EH.
Around 12 hours later it's pretty close to the shave I had with the EH.
I'll probably get a shave in tonight with a different plate.
Very smooth razor.
