andrewjs18  I reached out to Jacob of Yates about supplying the pass around with EH plate. He said sure no problem where do you want me to send it and I told him I would get with you and see if we can send it to meet up with razor and other plates in the pass around.
He said he could send it ASAP. Pretty cool he said he hadn't had time to get on DFS because he's been busy with production.

For me, the Yates H might be a tiny bit more efficient than the Blackbird and more comfortable/smoother. I also find it a bit more efficient than Charcoal Goods Lv3 SB, and again, smoother/more comfortable.

sure, what state are you in?
Andrew, Since brother keto was kind enough to get the extra plate that I was most interested in trying, can you add me to the tail end of the list please? Tarheel state here. Thanks.

I sent a message to Captainjonny about getting his address so the Yates team can send him the new plate - I believe he's next to receive the razor.

Thanks Celestino. I'll keep an eye on the thread and watch for some others' thoughts before deciding whether to jump in or not.

Not a problem. However, seeing as you are in the US, I would highly recommend joining the pass-around to try the Yates. It is a great razor.

I find my Blackbird OC to be more efficient than the Yates H, but the Yates is smoother. I would compare it to be very close to my Timeless .95mm OC in both efficiency and smoothness.

The more I use the Yates the more I like the balance I get with the standard thin 4" handle. This surprises me because 85mm is my usual sweet spot for handles. I'm very happy I bought this razor.
