Not sure about the 0.60 OC but the prototype I have certainly is more efficient to me.

Tried the OC with the Darwin today and I still don't love the Darwin handle even though it's a pretty good match for the WR3 in the absence of a handle designed for it. Not the most secure grip with wet fingers. Prefer the WRH7 actually.

I did get some blade feel this time, maybe the blade wasn't lined up correctly. The shave result was the same as the first try of the OC but that time I barely felt the blade somehow? Still no irritation after the shave.

Thanks guys. I’m going to order the 0.60 OC with the darwin handle. Through trial and error I have determined my brillo pad facial hair gets along with open combs much better.

I'd say the 0.40 SB is pretty close if not identical to me in efficiency to the Sabre L2. I used both razors today and it's really hard to tell the difference for closeness. Obviously the shave is different with the smaller head design. I think the GEM Wolfman is smoother as well but this is totally YMMV territory.

Sadly my week with the WR3 is over. The 0.40 SB is a little mild and the prototype 0.74 OC more aggressive than it needs to be - for me. However it is very smooth but definitely rewards a light touch. Not really sure what gap I'd pick right now but will get the opportunity to test the 0.60 SB after Christmas.

Right, let's get to the pictures

This ought to give a good idea of the size of the head relative to others GEMs

And compared to the WR1

I can never quite get the efficiency I want from a GEM style razor, so I’ll be curious to try the WR3 (one day).

There's a 0.60 SB dark bronze auction going on right now - if you can afford it! Surely it will go for above the very high list price?
