Trying to figure out how that could even be possible.

Honestly dunno but it seems to be. I tried using the black washer that comes with Karve for 5 shaves, it shaved much worse with that than without it.

The Karve washer is rubber and MAY have some springiness to it. Karve states that this is included purely for transportation purposes.

If you want to protect your Wolfman, use a hard nylon washer.

Do you guys have any amazon recommendations?

By the way, the smoothness of 1.55 is absolutely unreal, it feels like B plate on Karve but cuts better than G plate. The hype is legit, if any of you have reservations about the higher gap WR2s lemme tell you it's incredible. The only thing I'm thinking now is if the 2020 Sailor is even better than this like LOOT and george1906 say then what the hell does that feel like?

Just something to encourage discussion: I've been shaving with the 1.55 daily. No issues at all for me. It's an absolute dream. If you're a daily shaver with good daily growth and you're hesitating with the higher gap, rest assured you won't regret it.

One thing I gotta say though, the BBS is not lasting longer than it did with Karve, it's more or less the same. Shave feels much smoother though, especially ATG.

The ones I have won‘t help you as I ordered in the EU. Just search for „M5 nylon washer“ in Amazon.

Maggard sells washers in packs of 10, I believe. That's where I got mine.

Search this on Amazon:  100 Pieces M5 Plastic Nylon Flat Spacer Washer (M5 (ID)10mm (OD)1mm (Thickness))

Mine were $9 for 100. They fit perfectly in the recessed circle that is cut into the bottom of the WR2 and the (new) Lupo baseplates.
