To protect the threads it's best to use all of them, and a washer would have to be 1mm in order to not affect the threads.

Tried this out a moment ago.
It made a 1.35 more efficient than a 1.55 but lost major points on comfort.
After one pass sanity prevailed...went back to an unmodified 1.35 and it was great.
The only razor I want now is a Ti 1.35 from Wolfman or something in that territory that
looks equally good.

I would think that would cause a loss of proper pressure holding across the whole razor blade as it was designed too ??

I've seen some of those videos but he felt the mildest WR1 .48/.54 had less blade feel than the WR2 .85 so it is so personal. Would be looking at .95 gap and under I imagine. Let's get this one first.
