Wolfman WR2 Head Discussion

To protect the threads it's best to use all of them, and a washer would have to be 1mm in order to not affect the threads.

Man I just had a crazy thought after seeing this pic in a classified.
Could this be a legit way of increasing your wolfman's gap without getting 
into shimming?

Tried this out a moment ago.
It made a 1.35 more efficient than a 1.55 but lost major points on comfort.
After one pass sanity prevailed...went back to an unmodified 1.35 and it was great.
The only razor I want now is a Ti 1.35 from Wolfman or something in that territory that
looks equally good.

I would think that would cause a loss of proper pressure holding across the whole razor blade as it was designed too ??

Just Shaved with the WR2 again aswell as yesterday. I think it's a bit too aggressive for me, it's smooth but feels kind of rough on my skin. Unfortunately I don't think it's for me. Going to test it further but might end up selling/trading it.

That's a real shame Drew. Hope you aren't too disappointed after the long wait. Maybe the .95 will work out better.

I find it to be really interesting how the masamune has a much smaller blade gap and negative blade exposure while the karve C Plate has a considerably higher blade gap and positive exposure but the masamune is noticeably more efficient.

Just like my Silversmith v the Masamune.

I've seen some of those videos but he felt the mildest WR1 .48/.54 had less blade feel than the WR2 .85 so it is so personal. Would be looking at .95 gap and under I imagine. Let's get this one first.

I had to shave with my WR1 .94 a dozen times before I finally figured it out. Now it is fine. Try different handles, different blades. Size of the handle makes a big difference sometimes.

I agree with Jimmy H. maybe a different blade. It could also be the angle of attack. Give it some time and experiment before going BST. It is very possible that it is not right for you as I have come to the same conclusion on a number of razor passarounds that everyone seems to love but me.

Try a German Wilkinson Sword or Astra SP blade if you want to tone down the aggressiveness... I can go all the way up to 1.55 OC, no issues, with either of those two blades.
