The WR1 .94 DC is my favorite of all Wolfman razors. There is a small amount of blade feel but extremely smooth.

I have both 1.55DC and .94SB.
For my next razor, I am thinking to get 0.80DC or 0.86DC, and I will sell my .94SB Head.
I can use 1.55 even for a daily shave, but .94 is a bit harsh for this.

A good Friend of mine loaned me his .94, and it was just a bit too much of a good thing for me. I couldn’t use it without getting irritation. The WR1 .80 OC is my favorite Shaver of all time, my Desert Island Razor. I can use it daily with zero irritation and it always gives me an efficient BBS Shave. Add a Darwin Handle and I’m in heaven Big Grin.

So out of most of you that have multiple wolfmans you prefer the WR1 to the WR2? I tired a .61 WR1 but shaved so similar to my Lupo so I wrote it off and started looking at 1.15 WR2s more. After today’s posts I’m reconsidering a WR1 .80 dc now. Copper CG gen 2 lvl 2 is my current top of the heap out of vector, CG gen 1 lvl 2 & 3, and a Tatara Nodachi.

I dunno...big generalization....I think the WR2 is more comfortable, but I get better shaves with the WR1.

Wait LOOT and pork and others who have both, is this a consensus thing and you all get better shaves with WR1 than WR2????

Can you guys do a rank of your favourite Wolfman head/gaps?

I have the Wr1 in .74 & .86 and don’t find they even come close to Wr2 performance, sure they shave well but the smoothness Of Wr2 is in a different league on my skin, as always Ymmv.

The Wr2 1.45/1.05 is my dessert Island razor, Is it cheating to have a dual gap Wolf On the Island?  Cool
Ps: I seldom use the 1.05 side as simply using technique with handle angle has all the gaps covered, Eg: lifting the handle gives the milder shave experience.
A Big gap Wr2 can give the mild shave of the small gap with technique, however the smaller gapped Wr2 cannot match the Big gap shave. Cool
