Wolfman WR2 Head Discussion

Good point, they won't be marked up so unless they are very different it would be easy to use the wrong side.

As some pointed out earlier, apparently he puts the higher gap on top of the W from the Wolfman engraving, so you can use that to work out which gap you’re about to use, but it does mean remembering to look underneath the baseplate all the time/ before each pass, etc....

Shaved 1 day's growth with the 1.55 SB this evening. Used a Feather (2nd use) with MDC and the shave was smooth as silk. Two pass, BBS, no irritation. I don't know if I could shave with it every day ... but I'm going to find out 

Tonight was the third consecutive day shaving. The first with the BBS-1 and a new Feather.

Yesterday afternoon around 2PM the WR2 1.55 SB with the same Feather blade on its second go round. Smooth and irritation free.

Tonight around 8PM, so 30 hours since the last shave. Using MDC again, the Feather on its third, and final go. 

Maybe I have elephant hide ? The shave was smooth and no irritation again. BBS all around right now, 2 1/2 hours later. 

I'm going to shave with the 1.55 again tomorrow and see how another consecutive day feels.

I know from LOOT and other experienced members and it seems the WR1 and WR2 aggressiveness ranking to be as follows (from least to most aggressive):

WR1 0.74 > WR2 1.05 > WR1 0.80 > WR2 1.15 > WR1 0.86 > WR2 1.25 > WR1 0.94 > WR2 1.35 to 1.55 (left some of the lower gaps since not interested on those too much).

Based on that, where do you guys would place the Timeless 95 and Blackbird? My order is all ready to be shipped today per the customer rep (i Ordered the 1.15, couldnt change to 1.25) but I put myself back into the list for a 1.25, in case the 1.15 is too mild compared to the timeless 95 and blackbird. But any input is appreciated. I will also know soon enough when it arrives and get some shaves with it.

Is 0.85 the lowest James has gone on the WR2 or is there lower?

0.85 is the lowest I know of. You'd have to ask James if he is prepared to go even lower.
