I don't fully agree. My WR1 0.61 DC is slightly more aggressive compared to the WR 1.05. If anything it's closer to WR1.15, more like a WR 1.10. I tried shaving with a WR 0.74 and it was way too aggressive for me as was the .67 however I can easily shave with a WR2 1.15 which is as high as I'll go. So for me it's WR2 1.05 > WR1 0.61 > WR2 1.15...  I can't comment on anything lower than WR2 1.05 since I have never tried anything milder but the 1.05 is a wonderful gap for the more sensitive or light bearded guys amongst us who are not blessed with a crocodile skin.

Who has an wr2 85?  95 is the lowest I have seen.

Max, am in complete agreement with your ranking but did not get the impression of Loot’s views you did

LOOT could you chime in when you can? : ) always love hearing your input, since you have used almost every gap on both WR1 and WR2, and many other razors.

Interesting video, he is clearly another fan of mild razors and calls the .85 gap too aggressive!

You pretty much nailed my ordering and it's all a little subjective. The lowest WR1 i used was a 61 and it just took too much work, I sold it. I didn't have the 67 but I did buy a 74. I just felt like the WR1 head got smoother with gap. My 80OC was smoother than the 74SB so the 74 eventually got sold. The 80 is close to a 115, on my face. 125 and 86, then 94 135. In any of those pairings, I'd not argue with anyone that flipped them around. Heck, I'll not argue at all Smile

Which heads do you have? Which are you looking at? What are your current favorites? Maybe if we can find some other commonalities it will be easier to guide you toward the best head. Do you like blade feel? Are you looking for a daily shaver? Forgive me if you've covered this before...if so, just tell me the post number and I'll track it down.

My favorites are the Timeless 95 and Blackbird (both SB versions in Stainless Steel).  Im looking for something along those 2 razors.  I mostly shave every other day, thus why I like those 2 and sold my entire den.

Coincidentally, 10 mins ago I just received my shipment notification from james (for the WR2 1.15 SB I ordered) so its a matter of 1.15 vs 1.25 for me.   I added myself again on the list, in case 1.15 is milder than those 2 (but i hope not)  I hope is around the same, but not sure.

LOOT  I was one bloody mess after using the .74. Tried it a few times with different blades. I was lucky to have skin left.  All those high gaps make my head spin.  Big Grin

Max and Loot, apologies for misunderstanding Loot’s razor comparison and ranking. While respecting his opinion and liking personally, could not disagree more with Loot’s perspective based on personal experience with these razors. Count me FIRMLY in lockstep agreement with Max and, if anything, perhaps one razor gap lower on the WR1: e.g., 0,54 v 0,61.

[/quote]A 115 will be in the same ball park as the T95 and BB. The 125 cuts closer than both, to me.
