If you have a chance, try 1.55 OC, too. I like it a bit more than SB.

If he will have a waitlist for Titanium, I really would like to get Ti 1.55 DC, too. So the weight and balance will be improved.
Since I am using with the hollowed handle, and I can feel balance is going on the head side. 

The best for me about this razor, the angle range I can use is quite small. I mean when I try narrow angle, the bar is not touching my face.
With wider angles, the blade is not touching. This small range really works perfect, and let me hold the angle stable throughout my shave. 
I feel so comfortable to use it all the time.

I would love to try a WR2 OC someday. I’ve been too nervous to try one when I’ve had the opportunity to purchase since most people seem to much prefer the Solid Bar in WR2. I bet in Ti a WR2 OC would be excellent, but same deal, the opportunities to purchase are too scarce for me to have taken a chance on one. I actually prefer OC in the WR1 in both SS and Ti. Fingers crossed Mr. Dufour offers Ti (as well as Bronze) again in the future at some point. I’m just scared to see what he will charge if/when he does. I would love to own a Ti Darwin, one of the Unicorns I’m still chasing.

I can't speak about the wider gaps in OC, but my DC is 1.15 SB/OC.
The 1.15 is very smooth in either format. The shave is very similar to my Timeless .95 OC.
I notice no real difference in the 'feel' of the SB or OC (but may depend on gap, blade, etc...as usual YMMV).
If I buy again I'd probably go 1.25 or a DC 1.25/1.35 and OC but that's because I like OC razors anyway.
I know a lot of folks like the SB, but I really don't know if that should mean that the SB is 'best'.
If you go DC (SB/OC) you can have the best of both worlds.

To me, the SB vs. OC preference is like being right-handed vs. left-handed. OC-preference and left-handedness are minorities, but there's nothing wrong with them. I happen to be right-handed but prefer OC (by a large margin).

Yes, my WR2 1.35 is an OC. As is my WR1 .74. When given a choice, I always buy the OC.

I enjoy my WR2 a great deal. It's very efficient and very smooth. (Same with my WR1.) Neither are very blade-forward. I typically choose a blade-forward razor (CG L3 OC, Ikon Tech (not OC), R41 2011 (kind of OC), Blackbird OC, ATT H2 OC, PAA Double Open Comb (!) Evolution, Timeless Bronze .78 OC, etc.--notice a general OC pattern?). But my WR2 fits into a family of efficient, very smooth razors that don't have a lot of blade feel, yet very pleasant, including my WR1 OC, Rocnel Elite 2019 Aggressive (not OC), Paradigm 17-4 (not OC), Timeless .95 OC, Gamechanger Jaws OC, etc.

To my knowledge this only happens if you use the hollow, regular sized WRH7 which weighs about 47gm.
I switched to the hollow WRH7 XL and the balance is perfect.

From reading the thousands of posts here, it appears to me that those who prefer a steep angle don't care much for the OC head, while those who prefer a shallow angle don't seem to have a preference.

For the first time, I feel zero need for another razor and my shaving gear buys have dropped off massively. The WR2 is the most enjoyable razor I’ve ever used. Really liking MDC shave soap too. It’s great to finally be fully content with my shaving gear, 1 razor, 1 brush and now only 3 soaps and 2 after shaves.
